My mouse will only work 1 foot from the receiver. Prior to this, it has always worked 4-8 feet away. I try reinstall drivers, change ports, even try keyboard on another comp and there work. I try and remove all usb devices from control panel and install again all and all was instaled corectly but ex110 is not recognized. Few days ago all works perfect but after upgrading graphic card dont. In dual boot xp all work perfectly so its not bluetooth or something any sugestions? I think such tasks are accomplished by sending a certain combination of hotkeys to Windows 7, and if so, is it possible for me to know which keys they are (maybe by using a keylogger or some sort of keystroke detecting programs). As I do not have excel yet and do not really need internet explorer when using the keypad, I want to see if I can use those keys to launch something else by changing what the hotkeys trigger. After receiving it, I went through the tedious task of updating it via MS Update. I noticed after upgrading, the mouse started behaving very strangely where it would take off and shutter, not respond or be very slow to respond.

Contacted Dell and they had me turn off a bunch of stuff on the Dell Touchpad app. This helped but did not fix the issue.

I ended up re-installing the OS and made sure the drivers were installed in the correct order using the drivers disk supplied by Dell. Haves since installed the most current driver provided by Dell on their website 15.3.2.1 (April 2011). There continues to be issues with the mouse freezing from time to time. Nov 1, 2009 I recently gave vista the boot installed windows 7 on my Toshiba satellite A200-FT3 laptop. Everything went great however the touchpad doesn't seem to be functioning. I've already installed the latest synaptic driver.

The device manager even says that the device is 'working properly' however i can't get the pointer to move using the touchpad. The 'Fn' functions work: Fn+F7 to brighten Fn+F6 to darken. EXCEPT the touchpad: Fn+F9. Does anybody have any ideas? Dec 8, 2009 I have a Trust 460LR wireless optical mouse that is connected to my PC via a PS2 to USB converter. When I connect it it is recognised and it works perfectly except for the back and forward button which do nothing. As it's fairly old there is no driver on the Trust site and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions?

Dec 14, 2009 Just upgraded to windows 7 ultimate and when i restart, my normal microsoft usb mouse works in the bios until windows starts loading all the drivers from sys32. I used gpedit to disable auto install and uninstalled all of the usb drivers also gives me a code 19. Where can i just find a generic usb driver or something. For instance, four people on the kinect and the kinect mouse will have create four instaces of the device or recoginize the four people as four mice. I have a theory I haven't tested but I still think it's possible to do this.
